In appreciation of America’s veterans and the importance of telling their stories, the Hole in the Wall Theater will offer discount admission at the door to veterans of the armed services for their production of Lanford Wilson’s “Fifth of July.”
The play follows disabled veteran Ken Talley who comes home from Vietnam to his warring family. One of Lanford Wilson’s most well-known pieces, “Fifth of July” is a hilarious and poignant look at the struggles of adjustment and what tests the bonds of friendship and family.
General admission is $20, with $15 discount tickets for students and seniors. For this production, we offer veterans of the armed services a special $10 discount ticket at the door, simply tell the box office that you served.
The show runs through June 28th with shows on Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM and a Sunday Matinee at 2:00 PM on June 22nd. Tickets can be ordered online at www.hitw.org or by calling the Box Office at 860-229-3049.
