We are proud to be teaming up with the Connecticut chapter of the Horror Writers Association as they sponsor a rare opportunity to see the Joe Lansdale film CHRISTMAS WITH THE DEAD, which is not available to stream and has only been shown a few times in theaters. Join us 11/9 at 7pm at 116 Main St, New Britain, CT.
The film stars Damian Maffei, Kasey Lansdale, Brad Maule, and Chet Williamson, and begins on Christmas Eve, when a strange event in the sky turns everyone but “Calvin” into zombies (or so he thinks). Mr. Maffei will join us after the film for a Q and A session.
Audience members are encouraged to dress as Christmas zombies for the event. Members of the HWA will choose a winner for Best Costume and award that person with a prize package of books and other goodies.
Tickets are only $10, and can be purchased at hitw.org/tickets, or at the door on the day of.
