Lenny’s Dead, by Alex Giacin

Hole in the Wall Theater is proud to present a staged reading of Lenny’s Dead by Alex Giacin, directed by Kate Stango

“Hey, how ya doin’? My name’s Hank. That guy over there, that’s Lenny. Lenny’s dead. he was killed in Vietnam – August 9, 1971.“

Hear from Hank and Lenny in this one-act play as they explore their childhoods, how they came to join the military, and ultimately work to come to terms with what really happened to Lenny during the Vietnam War.

This reading will be performed to celebrate the playwright, local author, and performer Alex Giacin, ten years following his passing. An optional talk-back will be held following the Sunday matinee performance, featuring members of the original cast and crew of the award-winning production from the 2008 Connecticut Playwright Project.
