Stopping Here (A Staged Reading)

Hole in the Wall is proud to house a staged reading of Stopping Here, written and directed by Lynne Gannon, and produced by Alexandria Palazo. Stopping Here will be performed on Saturday, April 26th at 7pm at Hole in the Wall Theater (116 Main St, New Britain, CT). Tickets are $15 for general admission, and $10 for students/seniors.

Stopping Here is a dramatic presentation based on four poems by the beloved poet Robert Frost. These narrative poems were originally published in Frost’s collection North of Boston, and while they tell separate, unrelated stories, they are linked by common themes conveying the mystery of human relationships. Their use of dialogue interspersed with descriptive elements make them perfect for a dramatic adaptation and frames Frost’s words with an imaginary conversation between the poet and his wife Elinor.

About the playwright and director: Lynne Gannon is a retired English/theater arts teacher. She has directed youth, teen, and community theater shows. Stopping Here is her first published play.
