Will Shakespeare has been dead for three years, and unscrupulous publishers pirate his plays (badly) and, worse, people pay to see them. In response, his surviving friends determine to gather and publish a collection of the true versions of his plays: the First Folio. But contending with loss, love, a fire, shady investors, cold feet, and rival poets, will they manage to do so and will it be worth it in the end?
