Auditions: The Time of Your Life

Auditions for William Saroyan’s The Time of Your Life will be held on Sunday, April 14th, 2024 at 7pm and Monday, April 15th, 2024 at 7pm. Auditions will take place at Hole in the Wall Theater, located at 116 Main Street, New Britain, CT. If callbacks are required, they will be held at Hole in the Wall Theater on Tuesday, April 16th at 7pm.
The show will run Friday, June 14th, 21st, 28th, Saturday, June 15th, 22nd, 29th and Sunday, June 23rd.
Auditions will consist of reading sides from the script.
If you have a headshot and resume that you would like to provide, feel free to bring it in. Headshots and resumes are not required for auditioning!

PLEASE NOTE:
All potential cast members will be required of the following:
Access to a reliable mode of transportation.
Attendance to one (1) General Meeting at HITW (usually the second Wednesday of the month).
Attendance to one (1) performance of the current production at HITW (The Tempest).
Attendance to the strike of the set of both The Tempest (4/28/2024) and The Time of Your Life (6/30/2024)

Synopsis
Nick’s waterfront saloon in San Francisco is a haven for lost souls in the waning days of the Great Depression. Shepherding this group of outcasts is Joe, a kindly and enigmatic patron who encourages them to seek goodness and dignity–to live in the time of their lives. This Pulitzer Prize-winning ensemble play, alive with music, is a sweet and funny portrait of eccentric lives and the compassion that binds them.
There is a range of roles spanning all genders and ages.
