Hang with HITW This Fall!!!

Hello Hole in the Wall Friends and Family!

Fall has arrived in New Britain, and with the cooling of the air outside comes the end of our latest production, Completeness. This is the last main stage production of the year, and we are so thankful to all of you for all of your support in our grand reopening that began with Waiting for Godot, and continued with Marjorie Prime.

Now, you are probably asking, “What are you going to do now?” Well, friends and family, we still have plenty planned for the good people of New Britain, and we’ve got some friends to help us.

First up on the docket is the return of our friends at Backyard Theater Ensemble. Having graced our stage with their productions of The North Plan and Mauritius, BTE are back with their production of Jennifer Haley’s gritty crime-filled sci-fi story, The Nether! Directed by Tina Parziale, The Nether is a glimpse into the future of the internet…especially its darker side, where desires can be indulged anonymously, and one detective must dive into one of its most heinous realms, with consequences that are not confined to the digital plane.

The Nether will run for two weekends starting on Friday, October 15th. Five shows, on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, with one 2pm matinee on Sunday, October 17th. Tickets are available now at hitw.org/tickets, so don’t miss out on a dark show for the spooky season.

We are also excited to welcome back another friend, Cody Hildebrand! After hanging out with us last year in his stage show “Playing with Myself,” Mr. Hildebrand is returning with his brand of magic and out-there humor (NOT FOR KIDS!!!) in a stage show he calls “Hildebrand Magic: 30 Missed Calls from Mom.” Tickets are available now for two performances on Friday, October 29th and Saturday, October 30th at 8pm. Kickoff your Halloween weekend with some magic to dazzle you and some comedy to laugh the night away!

We’ll be keeping everyone posted on upcoming showcases, as well as our 2022 season kicking of in January. Our first mainstage show of the year will be Sam Shepard’s story of dark secrets people keep, Heartless, directed by Hole in the Wall’s own Steven Simpson (Waiting for Godot, The Glass Menagerie, A Doll’s House).

Keep on following us all over social media, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Be sure to check out our channel on YouTube to find cast interviews from Completeness (even if you missed it), our streamed production of Darths and Droids, and trailers from shows of HITW’s past! We’re so excited for what’s to come, and we hope you are, too. So stay safe and we’ll see you on the stage!
